Lantern Motion is a tool by THE DREAMING JESTER, an independent UK studio operated by Shaun Baker.

Your choices

The interest form asks for your email address, computer type and the options you select. Beta access requests let us contact you about invitations and testing. Launch updates are a separate, optional choice for emails about availability and major product updates. Neither option is selected for you. Requesting access does not guarantee a place or a release date.

We use your choices to contact you only for the purposes you selected. A beta request does not add you to launch updates. You can withdraw a choice or ask for correction or deletion by replying to a message from us, or using the studio contact form. Requests are reviewed manually; this website does not automatically grant access, enrol you in a paid product or send a marketing campaign.

Where your details go

Formspree processes and stores submissions in the studio’s existing form account and delivers an email notification to Shaun. The submission records your selected wording and its version; Formspree also records receipt and handles spam checks. Your computer supplies a submission time, which is not proof of a verified email address. Details are kept while responding to your request or providing the updates you chose; withdrawal and deletion requests are handled in the form account and the studio inbox.

Formspree handles technical connection information and may process information outside the UK. See Formspree’s privacy policy for its processing and transfer information. Your interest is not saved in this website’s browser storage or published on the website.

Private downloads

An invitation opens download access on the browser where you redeem it. We keep an access record with a random identifier, platform, expiry and active or revoked status. The database stores hashes of invitation and session values, rather than their original values. An essential, secure cookie keeps your download session open for up to 24 hours; signing out removes that session. Invitation access is separate from your optional launch-update choice.

Cloudflare processes these access records and privately stores the installer. To limit repeated invitation attempts, the service keeps a keyed digest of your connection address in a short-lived counter; it does not store that address in the access database. Expired counters are automatically cleared. Access records are kept while managing an invitation and removed when no longer needed. Contact the studio to withdraw access or request removal. Download access does not create a paid account or grant an app licence.

Browsing

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We have not added visitor analytics or advertising to this website. The scene controls run in your browser; the interest form sends information only when you submit it.
